Hi

I'm Christian Rivera and Revierie and the site you are currently on is part of my self-hosted Homelab Kubernetes cluster.

  • So what is this?. I don't hog enough media for a Plex server and I already have a Home Assistant setup, so I guess the next step in Homelab tinkering is to build a full CI/CD infrastructure + Dark Software Factory? Yeah I may have gone off the deep end a bit.

  • What is your background?. I have a music degree from Harvard, MS in Comp Sci from Georgia Tech. My work experience has mostly been Data Science work but I keep getting pulled into systems design, architecture, and software engineering because I like understanding a process from beginning to end. So yeah, I feel as comfortable modeling the performance of municipal bonds (why does the muni yield curve have an embedded option?!?) as I do setting up and deploying software infrastructure (so much yaml).

  • GitHub — for the repos, but my GitHub runners are self hosted
  • Cloudflare — Tunnel & Edge plus S3-compatible R2 storage for backups
  • Linear - Project Management tool (acts as my state machine)
  • Slack - Still not sure why this is here. That seemed to be the general recommendation.
